Kimberly A. Carmack

Since 1999, Kimberly Carmack has defended the interests of insurance companies and their insureds with respect to all aspects of No-Fault Automobile Litigation. Kimberly’s expertise includes the handling of claims under special investigation as well as catastrophic claims and claims administered through the Michigan Assigned Claims Plan. She has successfully tried No Fault and Auto Theft cases to jury verdict. Additionally, her accomplishments include a judgment in favor of her self-insured client in excess of $1.2 Million as reimbursement arising out of a No Fault priority dispute. Kimberly received her J.D. Cum Laude from the Michigan State University College of Law in 1999. While attending law school, she was an active member of the Moot Court Board where she received awards and earned a scholarship for participating in national Moot Court Competitions, including the Starr Insurance Law Competition at the University of Connecticut. She was formally inducted into the Order of Barristers in 1999. She received her B.A. degree from Michigan State University, James Madison College in 1996. She was admitted to the State Bar of Michigan in 1999 and the State Bar of Connecticut in 2000. Prior to joining the Law Offices of Ronald M. Sangster, Kimberly effectively litigated claims on behalf of multiple insurance carriers and their insureds in the areas of 1st party and 3rd party No‑Fault litigation and previously served as in-house counsel for a national Fortune 500 insurance carrier. She has authored multiple publications and has conducted presentations that have been instructive in the area of no-fault litigation. She is particularly passionate about fraud within the Michigan No-Fault realm, and enjoys working with her clients to aggressively investigate suspected fraudulent 1st party claims as well as provider fraud.
